If you are looking to start a new family tradition, you should definitely consider taking the kids to see the annual Ross Petty pantomine show. This year's production of Peter Pan in Wonderland is their 20th show and Ross Petty's last appearance onstage.

Held at the beautiful Elgin Theatre in downtown Toronto, this show will have you laughing, singing, clapping and BOOing!! It's a comical combination of Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland. Everything about this show is bright and funny...the sets are fantastic (from the Toronto skyline to the Queen of Heart's garden party in Wonderland), the performers are incredibly talented with their awesome dance moves and stunning voices, and the jokes are corny, satirical and downright hilarious at times!

My favourite character was Tinker-Bum (standing in for Tinkerbell who was busy and couldn't make it). She/he has the best expressions and body language and cracked me up with almost every line. My daughter LOVED absolutely everyone in the show and my son really enjoyed the Mad Hatter with his impressive acrobatic dance moves. Ross Petty outdid himself in his farewell performance as the evil Captain Hook--the villain that everybody loves to HATE!

Bring the kids, bring the grandparents, bring your friends, bring your neighbours. Without a doubt, everyone will enjoy this show and come away with a huge smile on their face.

It's the perfect way to spend some quality holiday time together this season.

The show runs from November 27 through to January 3 at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto.
