HO, HO, HO!! It's that time of year again. Watching your local Santa Claus Parade is a great way to get into the holiday spirit and even though things are running quite a bit differently this year, due to COVID-19, Santa is still excited to reach out and meet all the good little girls and boys this holiday season! Please double-check the specific websites for updated information on all events. While some cities have decided to cancel their parades altogether, others have gotten ultra creative and just altered how they are running them.

Bowmanville: Reverse Parade

Saturday November 21st from 10:30am-12:30pm

Santa is coming to Bowmanville for the 59th Annual Bowmanville Santa Claus Parade. While Christmas events may look a little different this year, we are excited to be able to celebrate safely.

A Drive-Thru parade format allows everyone to wave and enjoy Santa and music from the safety of your own vehicle. Santa and his reindeer will remain stationary while guests drive their vehicles past his float, creating a no contact "reverse parade".

Location:
Bowmanville Indoor Soccer Parking Lot
2375 Baseline Rd. W, Bowmanville, ON L1C 5M2
Don't forget your letters for Santa and non-perishable food donations being collected by the Salvation Army.

Aurora: Santa Under the Stars Parade

Location - Aurora Family Leisure Complex (AFLC)

This year due to COVID-19, the Santa Under the Stars Parade will be delivered in a new format. The parade will be a “reverse” parade, whereby vehicles drive around the parade and the parade floats remain stationary. The magic will be taking place in the front parking lots of the AFLC located at 135 Industrial Parkway North.

This night time parade is full of magic, with beautifully decorated floats, popular mascots, incredible marching bands and a few special guests including the Jolly man-in-red himself.

TORONTO: Santa is coming to town!

Join us on Saturday, December 5th @ 7pm on CTV & CTV2 for The Original Santa Claus Parade.

Since 1905, the Santa Claus Parade has kicked off the Christmas season, first in Toronto, then for the whole country as it has grown in popularity and importance throughout the years. The Parade brings people together, regardless of their background, celebrating hope, family and love. It’s part of the fabric of our community.

Every year we bring hundreds of thousands of people on the streets of Toronto, and millions more watching at home, come together to celebrate this joyous season together. We’ve been doing so uninterrupted for 116 years, and that’s exactly what we were planning to do again this year, bring Santa’s magic back to town.

Our plans, like so many of yours, have changed, but we will still be with you to celebrate the holidays and bring Santa’s magic to Canada.

COBOURG SANTA CLAUS PARADE/VIRTUAL EDITION

2020 will mark the 65th anniversary of the Cobourg Santa Claus Parade, an event that gathers thousands of individuals and families to welcome the holiday season. In order to celebrate this long standing tradition in the Town of Cobourg, while respecting new COVID-19 regulations and public safety, we are presenting an alternative approach to the parade.

Experience Cobourg and the Cobourg DBIA are seeking submissions from local businesses and community organizations for drawings of large, free standing floats.

We will post more details as they become available.

Oakville Santa Parade

Oakville: Santa Claus is coming to town...virtually!

We want you and Santa to stay safe this holiday season. That’s why Mayor Rob Burton will be sitting down with Santa in person instead of inviting him to our annual parade (sorry, parades don’t meet COVID-19 gathering restrictions). We’re excited to share this new and safe experience with you!
Have a question for Santa?

Please take a video asking your question and send to events@oakville.ca. If selected, your video will be played for Santa and shown online for your friends and family to enjoy this winter!
