If you've never visited Canada's Wonderland in the Fall you're missing out. Within 30 minutes of arrival we had parked, waltzed through the front gate, stopped at the washrooms and hit two rides. We knew it was going to be a great day!
If you've never visited Canada's Wonderland in the Fall you're missing out. Within 30 minutes of arrival we had parked, waltzed through the front gate, stopped at the washrooms and hit two rides. We knew it was going to be a great day!
The older kids enjoyed the new 301' WindSeeker then hopped on and off rides until lunch time. Lineups for popular attractions like the Behemoth and Back Lot Stunt Coaster were only a minute or two long! We got to enjoy roller coasters we never had the time or patience for on previous trips. After our delicious pizza lunch we all enjoyed the Halloween scavenger hunt, where Wonderland employees in costume handed out treats, and the maze at Camp Spooky in KidZville and Planet Snoopy.

Once our older children had enough of Camp Spooky they went back to the roller coasters while our four year old and I enjoyed having many photos taken with Snoopy and Charlie Brown's sister Sally. We also loved Charlie Brown's Trick or Treat show that was on stage 3 times daily along with all the fantastic rides in Planet Snoopy. Her favourite being the Ghoster Coaster and mine the antique cars, Jokey's Jalopies.

Mid afternoon we took a long hike back to almost the front gate for a Starbuck's hot chocolate and a snack (they might want to consider putting one in near KidZville, where the parents hang out!). Then it was back onto the roller coasters, although now the parents stood at the exit, thoroughly nauseated from too many roller coaster rides, the kids would run all the way from the exit back into line and get right back on, then race onto the next attraction. The Dad's even got to do the Drop Zone while their adoring children cheered them on, recommended if you like to scream for four long seconds.

Our favourite things about the day were no extended long waits for anything, no hot sweaty whiny children or adults, no fighting for shade, just beautiful cool fall air. Despite the shortened hours you can easily get two or three times more rides in a day. We even made it home for dinner and the kids weren't too tired to go to school happily the next day.
