Sunday, January 07, 2018 | Sunday FUNday - What Is It? Weekend

Part of a historian’s, curator’s or archaeologist’s job isn’t just research or digging for artefacts. Sometimes you need to figure out what something is before you accept it into your collection. That isn’t always easy! Spend some time at the Oshawa Museum investigating our diverse Education Artefact Collection on the first Sunday FUNday of 2018! Sunday January 7 from 12 - 4 pm. This event is free. You’ll learn what it’s like to be a real historian! We’re doing our best to stump you with our most baffling artefacts. You can also try your hand at guessing our 2017 What is it Wednesday online collection! Enter your guesses to win a Museum swag bag! Sunday FUNday’s at the Oshawa Museum run on the first Sunday of each month from 12 – 4 pm in the Verna Conant Gallery at Guy House. They give visitors a chance to interact with museum staff who are on hand to encourage discussions and answer questions.
