At Laurie´s Learn To Skate, we offer an affordable, one of a kind program to accommodate all levels of skaters.
For example, a 10 week, 40 minute session, ´ on real ice ´ is only $135.00 (GST included) and our real ice beginner, and our synthetic 30-minute programs, are only $125.00 (GST included). We always try to keep our costs low so that all family members can participate.
We at Laurie´s Learn To Skate believe that our synthetic surface is by far the best surface for beginner skaters. It takes away the need for any skate aids or a parent´s hand. In fact, the confidence and balance the child gains can be visible in 30 minutes of stepping onto the surface.
We have a great 6-1 student/teacher ratio, which gives the child more time with the instructor. Because consistency is also important for our students, we try to ensure the child has the same instructor for the full 10 weeks of the program. Our instructors are often ringette players, figure skaters or hockey players and they all go through our training program before joining our team.
In addition to lessons, we also host unique and fun birthday parties and summer camps.
