More info:Fairview Lodge is inviting the public to attend its 21st Annual Summer Festival on Saturday August 7th, 2010 from 10:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m at Fairview Lodge, 632 Dundas Street West in Whitby. Festival activities include: a petting zoo, pony rides, auction items, Whitby Firefighters Barbeque, Children's tents sponsored by Enbridge Gas Distribution, Van Hemmen Tire Antique Car Show and Dairy Queen Ice Cream Treats. Various items will be available for sale during the Festival. Live entertainment will be provided throughout the day! Fun for the WHOLE family! Volunteers are needed to run various activities. This is a great opportunity for the highschool students who have mandatory community service hours to be completed. Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age or an adult must accompany them on the day of the festival.
